For textures, colours and pattern ideas, Sandra looked to the shapes and colours of plants and to Huichol art in her homeland of Mexico. The result is a bodice decorated in chevrons using a mosaic crochet technique. The piece is worked in the round from the bottom up, with a simple contrast trim around the hem, neck and sleeves. The open effect of these stitch textures in pure linen yarn uses the ultimate stay-cool fibre to finest effect.
